“Teaching is not my main purpose. I want to make good citizens.” Shinichi Suzuki
Suzuki Violin & Viola Lessons. Parents of young children are required to attend and be actively involved with their child.  Students receive one private lesson and one group class per week. The Suzuki method is the foundation for this type of instruction which is based on how a child learns to talk - through listening, a nurture environment, and the repetition of skills learned. In the same way, students learn to play the instrument through listening to the CD, lots of repetition of learned skills, and much encouragement from the parents. While the private lesson provides great one-on-one attention, the group class provides a fun social dynamic as well as an emphasis on music theory and performance etiquette. Students receiving both private and group progress quickly. Group days are below; private lessons scheduled first-come, first-serve.  (Appropriate for children ages 3 to 9)

Private lessons are scheduled upon enrollment, on a first-come, first-serve basis.  The group days are as follows:
  • Tues 5:30-6:00 p.m. (beginners)
  • Sat 1:00-1:45 p.m. (Book 1 students)
